The badge is more than a badge. It is a shield. A shield of protection for them and for us. The Thin Blue Line is a line the officer will stand and hold. Many make that stand with the ultimate sacrifice. Today, May 15, 2020 has been proclaimed, by the President, as Peace Officers Memorial Day. The Town of Mize commends all the brave men and women of our law enforcement community for the courage to hold true to their oath to protect and serve. Our flags, for The Town of Mize, will be at half staff to honor all the fallen Peace Officers. We speak The Shield of Faith over all the Peace Officers, for their protection, while they stand on that Thin Blue Line. God Bless them all.
